About Bilugyun Island
It is an island next to Mawlamyine. The size is said to be about the same size as Singapore. A bridge from Mawlamyine to Bilugyun Island was made several years ago so it is easy to come and go.
There are about 50 villages on this island, and there are festivals from March to May. Festivals are held each village and are held in different villages every day. People of held of village cook meal for the other village people. So this festival continues for around 50 days. Of course, Foreigners can go to the village and can eat the meal. If you are interested in, you should go to the island.
