Khat Ya Khat Yu Pagoda, Sitting Big Buddha
Driving from Mawlamyie to Thanbyuzayat, you see only the part of the head of the Sitting Big Buddha above the rubber tree forest. The Sitting Big Buddha cannot be seen near Sitting BIg Gudha, because the rubber trees are so high. It is hard to see from the big street.
Please pay attention going through the Sitting Big Budha. There is on your left side from Mawlamyine city.
The Buddha has a pagoda and museum inside, and now it is making the pagoda. The outside is already completed to build. Of course, you can get inside. The fee is free, but Myanmar people always donate to pagodas, so it is ok, just small money, 1,000kya, 2,000kya.
